Preschool

Our 3 and 4 year old preschool program incorporates lessons designed to promote comprehension and interaction by targeting material that reinforces key concepts. It solidifies them by using math manipulatives, cooking experiments and other "hands-on" processes in AREAS within the classroom.

Starting in 2008, the CPCS K4 began to offer the state sponsored Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK) program. Our VPK is Gold Seal rated and it holds accreditations with the Florida Association of Christian Colleges and Schools (FACCS), and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS). The afternoon Higher Learning experience for 3, 4, and 5 year olds is scheduled from 11:00 a.m-.to 3:00 p.m. Teachers and assistants continue the learning process in all subject areas with a creative curriculum adding Spanish, art and music.

The elementary program offers progressive education in a thorough, enjoyable, and highly academic approach to learning. This insures a sold foundation for each student's continued advancement in coming years. Students are afforded opportunities to participate in extracurricular activities such as a fine arts program which includes introductory band, instrumental and vocal lessons, and development in drama. The students compete in a regional spelling bee and creative writing and fine arts competitions. CPCS also offers an intramural program in upper elementary.

In 2008, the National Institute for Learning Development (NILD) program was incorporated. This program is designed to build competence and confidence in students who struggle to learn by treating the underlying causes of learning disabilities through education therapy. NILD serves students through the 12th grade.

The goal of all students who attend CPCS is to offer a Scriptural foundation to students, to cause them to achieve academic success and to provide training a Christian character.
